Irving has always been vocal about his stance on politics, even if it has seen him court trouble and controversy. In the images, the authorities can seem to be wielding power and influence on humanity, and the 31-year-old mercurial guard had his thoughts, even if the images are not necessarily subtle.

The stories were part of a string of images, that also saw him talk about the importance of education and mankind’s over-dependence on technology.

Kyrie Irving Had His Share Of Controversy Last Season, And It Wasn’t About Basketball

Kyrie Irving garnered immense flak last season when he promoted anti-Semitic content on Twitter, and that saw his previous team, the Brooklyn Nets, suspend him for a series of games, including a list of things to accomplish before he would take the court again. This was one of the major talking points about Irving last season.

That said, he has not stopped keeping his opinions out in the open. The guard has always preached love, peace, communal harmony, and brotherhood.

With the latest images, Irving has made another attempt to connect with his fans and share his take on all topics outside of basketball.
