NBA basketball is far away for fans who are dying to watch some, with the season still more than 2 months away from the beginning. The offseason drama has kept large chunks of the NBA fandom occupied, but pure hoop fans just want to see the best players out on the court. And they’ve been turning to a lot of Pro-Am leagues and other events to get their fix.

The Drew League drew a lot of attention, with the likes of LeBron James and DeMar DeRozan participating and showing out with some highlight plays. The CrawsOver League gained some attention after Dejounte Murray’s filthy moves went viral as well. And Kyrie Irving was supposed to play in the Drew League, something he didn’t end up doing, which raised eyebrows across the NBA landscape.

But despite all the links to Los Angeles, Kyrie finally ended up taking the court on the East Coast. Playing in the All-Star Classic at Kean University in New Jersey, hosted by the ‘More Than A Run’ brand, Irving ended up showing out and dazzling those that came to watch.

Kyrie splashed in three-pointers, showed off his elite handles, and had some beautiful finishes at the time. Irving was joined by high school player and now Northwestern athlete Hansel Enmanuel, with both players giving the crowd a spectacular show.

There is a lot of speculation surrounding Kyrie at the moment, which NBA team he will play next for is a mystery to all NBA fans. It can be easy to criticize Irving; his outlandish takes and eccentric behavior make him an easy target for haters. However, when he gets on the court and shows out, there are few in the world as talented as Irving. Watching him perform is always a joy for true hoopheads.
