Lakers Fans Agree That A Big 3 Of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, And Shaquille O’Neal Wouldn’t Lose A Game: “This Is The Real 82-0 Squad”

The Los Angeles Lakers have been for the majority of their existence, the gold standard of the NBA. They have been the biggest attraction for stars around the league, with many big names opting to head to LA to make a name for themselves.

The latest big star to join their ranks was LeBron James back in 2018 and the King delivered the Lakers their first title since 2010 in his second season with the team in 2019-20. Things have been rough ever since, however, with the Lakers getting bounced in the first round in 2021 and they failed to make the playoffs in 2022. Some changes needed to be made, but the Lakers have failed to add any big names so far.

Fans trolled LeBron after the team signed Scotty Pippen Jr., Shareef O’Neal, and Thomas Bryant, stating that he has quite a squad now, with Pippen, O’Neal, and Bryant. That is, of course, referring to Hall of Famers Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kobe Bryant, with the latter two enjoying tremendous success with the team. A Laker fan on Twitter stated that if they had LeBron, Kobe, and Shaq on the same team, then they’d go undefeated and many tended to agree with that claim.

“Aye bro this would be the best 3 man lineup of all time”

“Yep. Bron can play point. Kobe on the wing. Shaq at center. They cover every level that u need to win”

“I have to agree you can put a g-league Guard with them and he will be an all-star”

“They probably lose like 1 or 2 games but in the playoffs they destroy everything in sight. Might lose 1 game. But they would win every year at their primes”

“This is the real 82-0 squad”

“There is not a 3 player combo to exist that beats this. None. Zero. Nada.”

“Lol the Big 2 without Lebron barely lost games.”

“Don’t even have to be prime can take these 3 in 06 and legit win a title”

“bro they would probably get 10 straight rings”

“The only equal type 3 i could see going at these guys is jordan for kobe, magic for bron and kareem for shaq and they would still get washed”

“Most op big three in history right there”

“I honestly really can’t see them losing 1.”

“The amount of IQ these 3 have will make them undefeated.”

“Facts…… Period…”

“i would literally give my soul to see this”

“Damnnn this OP!!”

“Pick any 3 and this 3 goin win”

“Add two solid 3 & D guys with Lebron at the point and they’ll go 82/82 100%”

“imagine getting clamped by LeBron or Kobe full court just to run into Shaq in the paint”

“They’ve got everything, defense, offense, playmaking, rim protection, rebounding. They would make Russell’s eight straight championships look like child’s play”

While 82-0 is probably a bit too much, this trio would be as formidable as one can get. LeBron and Shaq are two of the most physically dominant players in the history of the game, while Kobe provides that killer instinct that’s required to win in crunch time.

LeBron would sure love to have these guys with him on the Lakers right now, but Shareef and Thomas will have to do for now. He just might be getting Kyrie Irving on his team sooner rather than later, though, and that is a nice consolation prize if we can put it that way.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
