The Los Angeles Lakers have been solid over the last few games, and there’s no doubt that they are a team that could potentially make the playoffs by the end of the season. They’re 13-16 right now, and it is clear that they could get to the postseason with a few trades.

One of the rumored trade targets for the Los Angeles Lakers has been a former player for the team, Kyle Kuzma. The forward is currently having an elite year, averaging 21.3 PPG, 7.7 RPG, and 3.5 APG. The team has reportedly already contacted the Washington Wizards about acquiring Kuzma.

A post by Lakers Daily recently featured a trade idea for Kyle Kuzma which featured the Los Angeles Lakers sending out Patrick Beverley, Lonnie Walker, and a future first-round pick for Kuzma. Many fans commented on this trade idea, with most of them stating that the trade idea was an absolute overpay for the Los Angeles Lakers. In particular, fans objected to the inclusion of Lonnie Walker in the deal, who’s been having a productive season for the Lakers.

Us we’re not including Lonnie

lol delete this why would we trade Lonnie

No thank you. Not trading Lonnie And not for Kuz back. We had him And talked about trading him daily.

Not giving up lonnie wtf

I’m not giving up a 1st for Kuzma. Cut it out.

If lonnie wasn’t included it would work. Rather have the first and Lonnie. If Lakers were a top 4 seed then this trade would be fine.

Nah I rather keep Lonnie walker

Why we giving away Lonnie? and that is 26 mil PER SEASON for KUZ? yeah we say no lol

Lakers ain’t doing this

Pat and 1 first …I’m keeping Lonnie

Not with Lonnie as well

Give pat nunn and a pick

Please delete this

Not just no but hell no. Can’t give up Lonnie and a 1st for Kuz

There is no doubt that Kyle Kuzma would be a good addition to the Los Angeles Lakers, but not at the price proposed in the Tweet. If the Los Angeles Lakers can find a way to get him for less, then they should absolutely do so.

Kyle Kuzma Spoke About The Los Angeles Lakers’ Trade Interest In Him

Recently, Kyle Kuzma spoke about the trade interest from the Los Angeles Lakers. He stated that this interest shows that “the grass is not always greener“, but added that “it’s a blessing” as well.

“I think it just shows you the grass is not always greener,” Kuzma told FOX Sports. “It’s definitely a good thing because at the end of the day, that means I’ve been playing well, and I have value in this league, that a team would want to trade for me. It’s a blessing.”

It would be amazing to see Kyle Kuzma back on the Los Angeles Lakers. He has recently stated that he hates to see his former team lose, and perhaps he could help them turn things around if he was on the roster.

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers figure out a way to make the team better, even if it doesn’t involve trading for Kyle Kuzma. They have multiple options on the table, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
