  • Lamar Odom took to social media to make fun of Nikola Jokic’s dance
  • Jokic has been relaxing well this offseason
  • The Nuggets and Jokic are primed to defend their title

Lamar Odom was one of the many who were left in splits after watching Nikola Jokic’s comical dance moves in a Serbian club.

And he minced no words when he took to X (formerly Twitter) to roast the Denver Nuggets superstar for his dancing.

“My man plays ball like a brotha, but he sure don’t dance like one!”

All jokes aside, Jokic indulging in some extended celebrations only seems right given how he shepherded his team to their maiden NBA championship. In his title run, the center averaged 30.0 points, 13.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game en route to the five-game Finals win over the Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat.

At the time of writing, the general consensus is for the Nuggets to defend their title, and given Jokic’s scintillating abilities, chances of Denver doing an encore definitely look possible. However, the same can’t be said of his dance.

Nikola Jokic Is Primed For More Success In The NBA

In recent years, Nuggets fans have seen Jokic’s rise and that journey has just begun. His calmness and swagger on and off the court are brilliant at best, and that means there’s more success incoming.

From a team’s perspective, the Nuggets lost Bruce Brown and Jeff Green in the summer, and while their free-agent signings may not do what the duo did in entirety, they still have sorted core in Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Jokic to lead from the front.

Adding in promising players like Christian Braun waiting for more opportunities, there surely is room for more success. Head coach Michael Malone wants the franchise to elevate itself into becoming the new dynasty, and they can do that as long as they have Jokic.
