The on-court altercation between LeBron James and Ime Udoka led to the Rockets’ coach being ejected from the game and saw some words exchanged between the two. Everyone was wondering what Udoka had said to get tossed from the game. Trusted leaker @legendz_nba has shared clearer audio of what was said between the pair.

Ime Udoka: “Stop crying like b*tches, man”

LeBron James: “We’re all grown men, that b*tch word ain’t cool. Don’t use that word so loosely.”

Ime Udoka: “What are you going to do about it though? Soft a** boy, stop b*tching. Acting like you’re gonna do something

Udoka was trying his best to get James riled up and possibly out of the game in that situation. Instead, it looks like the coach was riled up enough on his own and used pretty aggressive language while in front of the referees. If LeBron responded with words to further instigate Udoka, that situation would likely have been a double ejection. He did laugh about the matter after the game.

The Rockets and Udoka were frustrated with the game, falling to a 97-107 loss on the night. Both teams defended well, but the Lakers looked dangerous with their players such as Jarred Vanderbilt and Cam Reddish returning to the rotation. LeBron scored just 16 points on the night, allowing Anthony Davis to take the lead with a 27-point performance.

LeBron James And Ime Udoka Played Against Each Other

As everyone knows, James has been in the NBA for 21 seasons and has faced a lot of league legends from yesteryear. This also includes many of the coaches in the NBA. For example, James has competed against his current coach Darvin Ham in the early 2000s as Ham was a bench player on the 2004 Pistons championship squad. Ham and James faced off in the 2005 Playoffs as well, though James was a superstar already at that point.

Ham isn’t the only head coach in the league that’s played against James. LeBron faced many active NBA coaches when they were still players, including Jacque Vaughn, Jason Kidd, Tyronn Lue, Adrian Griffin Sr., Willie Green, and Chauncey Billups. This list also includes Ime Udoka, who had faced James eight times during his playing career.

LeBron James and Ime Udoka played 8 games against each other, and the Lakers star had a 6-2 record against the Rockets Head Coach.

LeBron quite singlehandedly controlled games against teams where Udoka played, averaging 32.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 6.6 assists. Udoka was a role-player, so he didn’t get to have an impact that could even remotely compare to what James was doing. The current Rockets coach averaged just 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in games against James, barely getting rotational minutes toward the end of his career.

Udoka represented the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, and Sacramento Kings in these rivalry games, as James was in his first stint with Cleveland throughout this run. LBJ and Udoka don’t share the same relationship most players have with coaches, as James was peers with him and many other coaches around the NBA, outlasting all of their playing careers by a convincing margin.
