The NFL has millions of fans around the globe, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is one of those millions. The King was even present at Super Bowl LVII, where the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs.

During the game, James’ presence wasn’t really appreciated by the fans. After all, LeBron was constantly booed by the fans around the stadium. But that doesn’t mean what LeBron James said about the final play of the game was wrong.

Yes, we are referring to the controversial penalty call by the referee on the Eagles’ cornerback James Bradberry that turned the game in favor of the Chiefs.

His hand on his back had no effect on his route! This game was too damn good for that call to dictate the outcome at the end. Damn! By the way I have no horse in the race. Just my professional opinion

When the penalty was called, the score was tied at 35, but following it the game tilted in favor of the Chiefs. Thus ultimately granting them a 38-35 win at Super Bowl LVII.

Kevin Durant On The Super Bowl LVII

LeBron James is not the only NBA superstar who loves to watch football whenever he gets some extra time on his hands. Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant is no different than James when it comes to enjoying football.

Speaking of the Super Bowl LVII, Durant loved the game and claimed this season was arguably one of the greatest. KD also praised Patrick Malhomes in his tweet.

No lie, one of the greatest football seasons I’ve followed. Congrats to the Chiefs on that bowl, can’t ever count them boys out! 15 is beyond special!!!

Durant didn’t say much about the referee’s controversial decision, which helped the Chiefs win the game in the first place. It is obvious that Durant is a fan of the organization, and he simply focused on congratulating them for the victory.
