3 Min Read

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are considered by many to be the greatest duo in NBA history. Jordan and Pippen were able to win 6 NBA championships together, something that might never be matched by any other duo in history.

Playing Jordan and Pippen in a 2 vs. 2 during their prime would be incredibly difficult, regardless of the players. But LeBron James has named the players he would choose to play alongside him in that situation.

During a recent Q and A, LeBron James was asked which player he would pick for a 2 vs. 2 against Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, specifically among players he has played with in the past.

LeBron James picked Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant, whom he played with on the US Olympic team, and Kyrie Irving, whom he played with for 3 years in Cleveland and even won an NBA championship with in 2016.

Question: if you had to choose one teammate (past or present) in a 2v2 to play against MJ and Scottie Pippen, who are you choosing?

LeBron James: Kobe, KD or Kyrie

LeBron James clearly thinks very highly of the players he mentioned above and believes that he could defeat Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in a game of 2 vs. 2.

LeBron James and Kobe Bryant would be the most obvious choice, as both are great offensive and defensive players, and both play the exact same position as Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan respectively.

LeBron also answered questions about his favorite player in the NBA, and which of the players still in the playoffs he thinks are the best. James answered many questions from fans, regardless of the content.

One fan even asked LeBron James what the lowest point of his career was, to which he responded that his NBA Finals performance in 2011 is still the lowest point of his career. LeBron’s Q and A was eye-opening for many fans, as they got to know more about the king than ever before.
