LeBron James just refuses to stop and take it easy, as the King has been firing on all cylinders in the league for nearly two decades now. He snapped the Lakers out of their abysmal losing streak on Saturday night, dropping 56 points in a win against the Golden State Warriors that had all the fans in an excellent mood for the first time in a while.

James has been known for a lot of his career for carrying teams that aren’t really stacked into the playoffs and the NBA finals as well. It’s a large part of his case to be considered the greatest of all time. LBJ’s credentials may not have surpassed Michael Jordan in the GOAT debate, but he is always part of the conversation, even if he has to occasionally contribute to the narratives himself.

That’s exactly what James did after his brilliant performance against the Warriors, LeBron reposted stories from fans on Instagram that were referring to him as the GOAT.

LeBron didn’t even post just the one story, he went on to share three of others using the GOAT emoji to signify him.

This has been one of the biggest criticisms of James by his haters throughout his career, the fact that LeBron tends up to hype up his own case to be the GOAT. However, perception does matter massively in this particular debate, so it’s no surprise that James promotes his own case, especially since he has social media platforms to do so.

Obviously, this changes very little for the Los Angeles Lakers in the grand scheme of things if they cannot win consistently. The Lakers have snapped themselves out of a very bad stretch, with even King James looking like he’d written the season off a little bit, but a performance like this is sure to rejuvenate the entire roster as well as the organization and the fanbase.
