Bronny James is taking the first big step towards making his NBA dreams come true by playing in the McDonald’s All-American Game, just as his father had done 20 years ago.

The top-10 recruit is participating in the dunk contest, just like LBJ had. LeBron was miffed at the scores of Bronny’s first dunk being a mix of 9s and 10s, believing it deserved an unquestioned 10.

It’s cool. Should have been 10s across the board! For sure. Hahaha

Bronny’s first dunk was an effortless double-clutch behind-the-back windmill

The next dunk saw Bronny jump over his younger brother, Bryce, who stands at nearly 6’6″ already.

Unfortunately, the dunk contest was won by Duke commit Sean Stewart, as Bronny came in second place. It was an impressive showing.

Everyone will be patiently waiting to hear what Bronny’s next move is, as he is likely going to commit to an NCAA Division-1 University as he enters the final year before his NBA Draft eligibility.

Bronny James College Decision

The options in front of Bronny James are plentiful, as he could pick whatever route he wants for next year. He could go professional and play overseas or even join the G League, preferably on the South Bay Lakers, to be close to his father. Despite these options, it looks like Bronny will be going to the NCAA and playing for one of three colleges.

Recruiting Bronny hasn’t been easy, with Savannah James keeping a close eye on the recruits that try to deal with her son. The James family knows how the world of basketball works and will try and protect Bronny for as long as they can. If making the league is the end goal, Bronny has to continue working hard on the court and improving his game, already rising up the recruiting boards by virtue of his tenacious defense and grit.
