Some players are always trying to get individual accolades over anything else, but that’s not LeBron James’ case. The Los Angeles Lakers star has had a terrific career, collecting several awards, but now he has revealed that’s not his biggest motivation in the game.
Talking with reporters, LeBron revealed that winning MVP awards isn’t the biggest motivation for him since he intends to become the greatest player of all time.

“Regular season MVP has never motivated me,” he said. “To be the best, to be the best to ever play the game, has motivated me and it’s resulted in me being able to be league MVP a couple of times.”
“But I’ve never gone into the season saying league MVP is what I want to be. I’ve gone into the season saying, ‘Okay, I want to be the MVP of this team. I want to be the best player in the world.’
“How I approach my game every day [and] how I take care of my body every day has resulted in things like that.”
You can say he’s doing a terrific job trying to achieve that. Bron is always part of heated debates on who is the best player in the history of the game. Although the majority of fans pick Michael Jordan as the GOAT, there is no doubt that James has had a career to remember, entering the club of the best to ever do it.
Playing in his 17th season in the league, Bron is still displaying a great level, being considered one of the candidates to win the MVP this season. At age 35, this guy keeps showing why he’s such a special talent, something that only a few players can match.
