Steve Kerr After Steph Curry’s Return: “Look At All You, Jumping On The Bandwagon”

1 Min Read

Without Steph, Thompson, or Durant, the Golden State Warriors have been a shell of themselves this season.

With the league’s worst record and most of their good players still working towards a return, the reigning Western Conference Champions have been reduced to the league’s worst team. As a result, their following has seen a similar dip in numbers.

But with Curry’s return on Thursday, the Warriors became more than a footnote. Looking towards a suddenly full press room, Kerr called out the reporters for “joining the bandwagon.”

Curry had a fantastic debut, putting up 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in 27 minutes.

Though the team failed to come away with a win, it served as an encouraging reminder of what is to come for the next few seasons.

Curry, Klay, and Draymond Green will return to play alongside Andrew Wiggins to reclaim their place among the NBA’s elite. And though the team is not what they once were during their peak, the good days are far from over.
