The James Family seems to be progressing toward a return to normalcy after positive health updates on Bronny James, who suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday. The 18-year-old was discharged from the hospital within a day, showing he’s recovering quickly.

LeBron James has had a tough week dealing with his son’s health but the glimmers of hope have allowed him to go work out and train ahead of the 2023-24 season, as seen in a viral clip.

Basketball can be therapeutic for people, and James is extracting the healing properties of the game for himself. Hopefully, staying on the court will allow him to have a healthy outlet for the complex feelings that he and his family must be going through right now.

LeBron James Dealt A Massive Personal Blow

It’s not easy focusing on the game when grappling with your son having a cardiac arrest. Bronny’s strong recovery allowed James to issue a statement thanking people for their good wishes but still not revealing the cause of the incident. The family will want to know exactly what their son is suffering from so that they can try and get him back on the court without endangering his health.

If Bronny cannot return to the court, it’ll be a path-altering development. LeBron has been gearing up to play alongside his son in 2024, with free agency looming next summer when his son was supposed to be drafted. Those alleged plans could change now that it’s unclear if Bronny will return to the court in time for next season.
