LeBron James’ story is one of the most awe-inspiring ones of our time. Coming from humble origins, the King rose to the top of the basketball world as he won 4 NBA Championships, 4 MVPs, and the list goes on and on at this point.

LeBron has also shown during his career to be a shrewd businessman and he has racked up a fortune off the court thanks to it. He has gotten into the ownership business as well and one of his more famous entries into this field has been with Liverpool FC. James has been a minor stakeholder of the team for over a decade and last year he became a minor partner with Fenway Sports Group which is the primary owner of the club. Considering those facts, it was no surprise to see him in attendance for their Champions League Final against Real Madrid in Paris and LeBron shared an inspirational quote after the final:

“Used to rock a throwback, ballin’ on the corner/Now I rock a tailored suit, lookin’ like a owner. ‍♂️ . Just words of factual life events! “

It truly is amazing to witness just how far he has reached, considering where he started and James is primed for success in his post-career life as well. Unfortunately for him here, Liverpool did end up losing the game 1-0, but the team is sure to bounce back next season.

Laker fans will be hoping that James enjoys a bounce-back campaign as well, after all the disappointment surrounding the franchise this season. The Lakers shockingly missed even the play-in tournament as they finished 11th in the Western Conference, which ultimately led to coach Frank Vogel being fired. Darvin Ham was recently reported to be the next head coach and he, along with LeBron, will be tasked with orchestrating a Laker revival.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
