Before Lonzo Ball’s recent struggles with injuries, he was already making waves in the basketball world during his high school years. In a recent conversation with Trae Young on the podcast “From The Point,” Lonzo Ball shared just how hectic and sensational his senior year of high school was:

“When I first knew I can make the NBA was like 7th grade. But I would say the turning point was like probably my junior year. I just felt I was like I was just light years better than everybody.”

“I was playing point guard on offense and center on defense, so I just felt like high school was just already too easy for me.”

“My senior year was like a movie. I mean my other brother came, Melo. That was a lot of fun, we had to move arenas to go to bigger places just because everything was sold out.”

“People were like scoping tickets for like hundreds of dollars to go see high school kids. It was pretty wild.”

During his senior year, Lonzo Ball and his brothers were captivating the attention of basketball enthusiasts nationwide. The trio’s basketball prowess turned their high school games into must-see events.

The unforgettable scenes of packed arenas and fans willing to pay a premium to witness their games underscore the extraordinary excitement they generated.

Lonzo Ball May Never Play Again

Lonzo Ball’s journey has been marked by both promise and adversity. Unfortunately, injuries have plagued his path, raising doubts about his ability to return to the game he loves. The situation has escalated to the point where insiders are expressing skepticism about Ball’s potential return.

Ball’s knee injuries have necessitated multiple surgeries, with his most recent procedure holding immense significance. While Ball remains hopeful for a successful recovery, the organization appears to have reservations.
