Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks finally won a playoff series, as they defeated the Utah Jazz to clinch the series in Game 6.
Doncic was not available for much of the series, but the Mavericks were able to hold off the Jazz. This series win marks the first playoff series win for the Mavericks since their incredible 2011 NBA championship win against LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
And it appears Doncic was feeling the animosity from the Jazz fans in attendance during Game 6. Playing in enemy territory, Doncic had a spectacular game against the Jazz as he helped the Mavericks win the game and the series.
And after one tough shot, Doncic began clapping back at the fans by mocking them and their verbal insults. Doncic was seen running back and mimicking and mocking the fans and what they were saying with a stern look on his face. Clearly, the heckling helped motivate Doncic a lot.

Doncic and the Mavericks will now be facing the Phoenix Suns in the second round. Given how good the Suns have been throughout this season, and with the return of Devin Booker, the Mavericks will be facing a significant challenge in the series.
But given the talent available to the Mavericks, even aside from Doncic, the Mavericks have no reason to believe they are bound to lose.
The Mavericks have proven that they can be one of the best offensive teams in the NBA, and have improved significantly on defense. And given how the Pelicans challenged them, the Suns have shown that they can be beaten.
The Mavericks will be hoping that Luka Doncic continues his impressive run of playoff performances that started since his playoff debut in 2020.
Doncic has proven to be an excellent playoff performer, and his offensive game is so good that he can take over an entire game by himself. The Mavs will need Doncic to be at his very best.
