The Utah Jazz have taken care of home court, taking a commanding 2-0 lead over Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers. A large part of that play has been Donovan Mitchell, and how he has been able to elevate himself in the playoffs. His scoring was at 26.4 PPG in the regular season. In the playoffs, Mitchell hit another level and is currently averaging 32.7 PPG.

Magic Johnson has recently given big praise to Donovan Mitchell, and has stated that he is a superstar. Johnson also suggested that his name should be mentioned more alongside the best players in the league, such as Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

So far in the playoffs, it has been well deserved. After all, the Utah Jazz are undefeated with Donovan Mitchell these playoffs, and there is no question that he has been an offensive force to be reckoned with. Even a defensive wing duo in Paul George and Kawhi Leonard did little to contain him, and Mitchell was unstoppable for most of Game 2. While the series isn’t over yet, the Utah Jazz are in the driver’s seat.
