Malika Andrews has been excelling in her role with ESPN for a while now, she has quickly become a fan favorite among NBA fans. As the host of NBA Today, Andrews’ segments with other entertaining analysts like Richard Jefferson and Kendrick Perkins provide great entertainment. The show is now covering the NBA playoffs and there was a more familiar face for Malika to enjoy some banter with on Tuesday night.

The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies were playing against one another in Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinals series, with the Grizzlies looking to tie the series up after narrowly losing the first game. And ahead of the game, the reporter covering pre-game at the stadium was none other than Kendra Andrews, Malika’s younger sister.

And the two siblings enjoyed a wonderful moment on air that anyone with brothers or sisters can relate to. After Kendra was done reporting about Draymond Green’s mindset on technical fouls, Malika jokingly called her out for seemingly wearing a watch belonging to her, something that Kendra vehemently denied.

Andrews tweeted about the incident after the show, saying that this is what it’s like to work with your sister on television. But Kendra defended herself further, claiming that the watch had been a gift from Malika herself.

I will not stand for the slander Malika tried to throw at me on NBA Today. It’s my watch!! It was a gift from HER! https://t.co/WDnHG4E1Lo

Malika Andrews: This is what it’s like being on TV with your sister.”

These playoffs have had a fun family flavor throughout so far, be it Tee Morant’s involvement on the sidelines during Grizzlies games or his wholesome moment with Karl-Anthony Towns’ father during the first round. As for the Andrews Sisters, everyone knows that anything you own, your sibling will likely try to take it from you at some point anyway.
