Matt Barnes Says The Clippers Will Beat The Bucks In The NBA Finals

The NBA return is almost here and everybody has started making their prediction of what we’re going to see in Orlando next month. 22 teams will go to the bubble location to fight for a playoff spot but after that, only a handful of teams will have the chance to become NBA champions.

A lot of fans and analysts have started to make their predictions and Matt Barnes wasn’t the exception. The former NBA player sees the Los Angeles Clippers defeating the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2020 NBA Finals, which will take place in late September and October. He joined another former player, Richard Jefferson, on Instagram Live, saying that he believes the championship is coming to LA.

“I’m going to take the Clippers like I said at the beginning of the season. I don’t want to switch over. Although I’d love to see the Lakers and Bron, for Kobe, win this year. I got the Clippers vs. Milwaukee and the Clippers winning,” Barnes said, via Sports Illustrated.

Last offseason, the Clippers did a terrific job putting the pieces they needed to be considered favorites to win the title. Landing Paul George and Kawhi Leonard assured them being contenders for several years to come. Moreover, they added the right role players to complement PG and the Klaw so it’s hard to disagree with Barnes.

The Clips, as well as their neighbors, the Lakers, and the Bucks, are seeing as the favorites to win the NBA championship this season. Clippers and Bucks played twice this season, with Milwaukee winning both duels.

Even though ESPN recently put the Bucks as the biggest candidates to win the ‘ship this year while the Clippers ranked third, Barnes is confident his former team can win it all this campaign.
