• Bronny James’ survival was deemed amazing

• While the cause of his cardiac arrest has not been ascertained yet, he does seem to be making fairly good progress

• Bronny’s return to the court has no timeline

Bronny James’s survival after last week’s scary cardiac arrest episode has been labeled amazing.

According to Dr. Scott Ceresnak, Cardiac Electrophysiologist and the Director of Pediatric Arrhythmia at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, who spoke to Sporting News, the 18-year-old phenom was termed to have a lucky escape.

“Just the fact that he survived is amazing,” he said while adding that in cases of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, there is typically around a 10 percent chance for survival.

“He’s in an unlucky situation in the sense that he had a really rare thing that was potentially life-threatening happen to him,” Dr. Ceresnak said of James. “But he’s lucky in the sense that someone did CPR, saved his life, and put on an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and brought him back.”

This comes on the back of another expert who believed they were optimistic about Bronny’s recovery in the weeks to come.

“The fact that Bronny’s already out of the ICU means he’s recovering quickly, I would anticipate that over the near term in the next day, two or three he should be walking around. If his brain function is normal, he shouldn’t need to be in the hospital for more than a couple of days. But the big question about a return to play depends on what we find out is the cause.”

For now, the focus will be on Bronny’s recovery, and that he’s up and about shows the progress that he’s made.

Bronny James Was Seen Playing The Piano Upon Return Back Home

After he was spotted at dinner with LeBron James and the rest of the family, Bronny James was seen playing the piano at home with his siblings, Bryce and Zhuri, watching.

This comes as a good sign that the phenom is taking it easy and is looking forward to recovery.

It’s unfortunate that Bronny had a scare right at the nascent stage of his promising career, but the silver lining is that he’s had a miraculous escape and that comes as a sigh of relief for everyone including the James family.
