Metta Sandiford-Artest Calls The Los Angeles Lakers An “Once-In-A-Lifetime” Team: “Can’t Wait For The Season To Start. Skip Preseason.”

Metta Sandiford-Artest is really excited about the 2021/22 Los Angeles Lakers. The purple and gold assembled a very capable, experienced team to make a run at their 18th NBA championship.

They added Russell Westbrook to create a Big 3 alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Besides, the Lakers landed veteran players like Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard. This squad is poised to win the title next year.

After all these moves, the team is one of the favorites to win it all next campaign, and Sandiford-Artest can’t be more excited about them. The 2010 NBA champions took to Twitter to share his excitement about this talented squad. He went to call them ‘a once-in-a-lifetime’ team.

“This Lakers team is like a classic lauryn hill album . It only happens once in a lifetime. Can’t wait for the season to start. Skip preseason,” Metta tweeted.

Even though people have made jokes about these Lakers before, they are a very talented team that can compete for the championship next year. After a disappointing early first-round exit last season, they’re ready to get revenge.

Chemistry will be a big task for the team, as well as injuries. If they remain healthy during the season, the Lakers will have a big chance to transcend in the postseason. The competition won’t be easy, but they’re ready to face anything on their way to the championship.
