Montrezl Harrell joined the Los Angeles Lakers in hopes of winning an NBA championship. He previously played with the LA Clippers, where he established himself as one of the best players off the bench.

Unfortunately, his stint with the purple and gold was short and honestly uneventful. The 27-year-old was included in the blockbuster trade to acquire Russell Westbrook. Hence, Harrell is now part of the Washington Wizards roster for the 2021-22 NBA season.

It seems like the former Sixth Man of the Year winner wasn’t on the best of terms with his former teammates.

Lakers superstar and Harrell’s former teammate Anthony Davis recently got married with his fiance. Of course, players like LeBron James and Russell Westbrook were present at the venue. Even Jared Dudley suited up for the event, who is now part of the Dallas Mavericks’ coaching unit.

But Harrell was nowhere to be seen at the wedding. The former Lakers center revealed the reason to NBA analyst Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson. Scoop B tweeted:

“Nah bruh don’t like me like that!”

Harrell gave a pretty clear answer as to why he was not at AD’s wedding. With the two stars’ paths now separated, they will meet once again in the regular season. It will be exciting to see which side will come on top.

Harrell talked about something else with Scoop B. When he learned that WNBA players travel commercial, he was quite surprised and labeled it as weird.

He firmly believes WNBA players should also have access to better travel amenities like the NBA players.

As Montrezl Harrell pointed out, hopefully, this will come under the league’s radar and a step will be taken soon.

Lastly, Harrell has a lot to prove this season. Fortunately, with the Wizards, he will get more chances to showcase his talent and can get his career back on track. The best-case scenario would be for the Wizards to make a deep playoff run, with Montrezl playing a vital role. But considering the competition in the Eastern Conference, it is hard to see the Wizards achieve the aforementioned goal.
