Multiple Toronto Raptors Players Are Unhappy On The Roster According To NBA Insider

The Toronto Raptors may be forced to blow their roster up before the deadline, with multiple players upset with being on the team.

The Toronto Raptors are among the teams that are being closely monitored ahead of the trade deadline, as the Raptors might be able to set the market with the players they have to offer. It seems the Raptors have reached their ceiling with this roster and the chemistry between players, as Toronto has regressed since last season despite having young players that should be improving every season.

Rumblings of low morale in the Raptors locker room have been ongoing for a while now, but notable reporter Chris Haynes has seemingly confirmed that the Raptors players have become unhappy by being on the team.

If this is the case, Toronto will have no choice but to start moving their players on. The good thing for Toronto is that they can sell their current players for incredible returns and have unlimited assets to then rebuild the roster around Scottie Barnes.

Will The Raptors Blow It Up?

Gary Trent Jr. and OG Anunoby look like the players most primed for a move away from the franchise in the winter. GTJ’s value may be hard to ascertain because he’s an expiring contract, but Anunoby is reportedly worth multiple first-round picks, with teams like the Knicks willing to offer the same for the 3-and-D forward.

The Raptors will likely hold on to Pascal Siakam until the summer and have more competent offers to choose from than rushing to move him for a return they’re not happy with. Fred VanVleet is also a trade chip, but his poor performances this season have put his trade value very low. VanVleet can also become a free agent at the end of the season.
