Jaden Ivey was the No. 5 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, selected by Detroit Pistons. In theory, he should be a great backcourt partner for Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham.

NBA 2K is the most popular basketball video game on the market today, and naturally, after the 2022 NBA Draft, they added player models for the incoming rookies. Jaden Ivey's model definitely didn't look like him, and the young guard took to Twitter to roast 2K for how he looks in-game.

Hopefully, Jaden Ivey's model gets fixed to look more like him in the future. Generally, the models do improve as time passes, and perhaps we will see a more accurate version of him in 2K in a future update or in the next edition of the game.

There is no question that Jaden Ivey has the tools to succeed in the league. Ahead of the 2022 NBA Draft, a scout even compared him to an "early Russell Westbrook with a jumper", adding that "he'll improve any team's talent level and explosiveness".

“Ivey is one of the best athletes in the draft," one Western Conference scout said. "Think of an early Russell Westbrook with a jumper. But he needs a fast tempo to be at his best, but he’ll improve any team’s talent level and explosiveness.’’

Hopefully, Jaden Ivey can become that 2nd star for the Detroit Pistons. It will be interesting to see what he and Cade Cunningham can do with that team in the future, and perhaps they could be a scary team down the line.

As of now though, the focus for Jaden Ivey will be having a good rookie year and acclimating to the league. He could potentially win the Rookie of the Year award this season, and we'll see how well his first year goes with the Detroit Pistons.
