The Brooklyn Nets are currently the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 27-14 record, and there’s no doubt that they are having a fantastic year despite all the off-court issues that have plagued them in the summer and at the beginning of the season.

Stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have obviously played a huge role in the Brooklyn Nets’ turnaround, and they are both playing at an extremely high level. In fact, NBA analyst Amin Elhassan has recently claimed that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are the best duos in the NBA.

If we’re talking about the two best individual talents… I got to go with KD and Kyrie. KD by himself is in an atmosphere that few players in history get to enjoy. He lives there. Kyrie, for all of the shenanigans and the distractions and all that: that dude is still one of the best basketball players on the planet. In terms of his commands of the game, in terms of his offensive explosiveness, and his ability to make others better as well.

It remains to be seen if Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will be able to make it to the NBA Finals this year, and cement their status as the best duo in the league. Perhaps, they could even win the NBA championship together.

The Brooklyn Nets Want To Add Another Star Ahead Of The Trade Deadline

The Brooklyn Nets are obviously a good team right now due to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving’s play, but it seems as though the front office is still looking to improve. It was recently reported that the Brooklyn Nets want to add another star to their roster ahead of this year’s trade deadline.

Collins is exactly what the Nets are looking to add at this February’s trade deadline. An executive told Heavy Sports that the Nets are looking to add a “star” and “power-forward-like player.”

“The Nets are definitely looking for a deal, but they want to bring in a star who can play alongside what they have. They’d be in the market for a power-forward type, maybe a rebounder,” the executive suggested to Heavy Sports.

It remains to be seen if the Brooklyn Nets do end up making a trade or not. Though it is unlikely that they end up bringing a true star to Brooklyn, a trade for a role player like Jae Crowder seems very possible.

Hopefully, we see the Brooklyn Nets make a deep run this year with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. They definitely have the talent to beat any team in the league in a series, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
