In what comes a massive bit of fortune, one NBA fan made $193,800 after investing only $50 during the Conference Finals games.

The fan bet on Denver Nuggets shooter Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Miami Heat’s Kevin Love on the method of First Basket for a $50 2-leg parlay and strike it rich on FanDuel.

As far as raking in the moolah goes, this fan has to be the luckiest to make a six-figure earning. Safe to say, he will be more than happy that the teams he bet on and the players he wagered on didn’t see his money down the drain.

As much as the whole betting side of the sport has seen some fun, there have also been cases where the loss to these bettors resulted in them taking their frustrations out on the players and also crossing the line while at it.

Kyrie Irving Voiced His Thoughts On How Betting Has Taken The Purity Away From The Sport

Earlier this season, Dallas Mavericks guard weighed in on the betting side of the sport and how it ruined the beauty of the game.

“Gambling and sports betting have completely taken the purity and the fun away from the game at times. I’m gonna just be honest with y’all… There’s a difference between being a diehard fan & supporting your team & loving your team vs somebody that’s betting on a parlay or somebody that wants to hit… God dang, like this whole community of gamblers that are coming to the game of basketball.”

He further added: “Why don’t you gamble on something that makes sense to you?… I’m just saying you gambling, you going to win or lose. But that doesn’t mean sliding into people’s DMs or wishing bad on them or doing the extra shit that goes on, man. It blows my mind sometimes. You feel me?”

Irving isn’t wrong when he called out Bettors for their greed that saw them toe the line. While betting is a personal choice, one has to live with the consequences rather than berate a player for it.
