The Spun

When the Nets traded for James Harden months ago, they instantly became the favorites to win the 2021 NBA Championship.

And when the Bucks went down 0-2 early in the series, it was all but a given in the minds of the fans that the Nets would advance to the Conference Finals.

But after a series of bad breaks for Brooklyn, and some spectacular play by the Bucks, it was Milwaukee who advanced, beating KD and his Nets in Game 7 to advance to the Eastern Finals.

On Twitter, fans were going wild with reactions. Here are some of the best from the night:

Although Kevin Duatn’s season ended earlier than he would have liked, we cannot help but give respect to him for a fantastic season and even better postseason. He stepped up for his team when they needed him most and proved once again that he is one of the best in the world at his craft.

As for the Bucks, they’ve shocked the world. Even with Giannis, Middleton, and Holiday, Milwaukee was seen as huge underdogs entering the series, and they deserve a ton of credit for proving everyone wrong.

While we have to recognize that injuries played a role in the outcome, the Bucks took care of business and stepped up over the last two games, booking their ticket to the Conference Finals.

What awaits them is still unclear, as Game 7 of the Hawks/Sixers hasn’t yet played out. But they’ve put themselves in a pretty good position to win the whole thing.
