  • A video of Anthony Edwards working out in the offseason has gone viral on social media
  • Fans are amazed by how smooth he looks and how much his game is improving
  • Some NBA fans claim that he is going to be the face of the NBA soon

Anthony Edwards is just 21 years old and going into his 4th NBA season. He has already made it to the All-Star team once and continues to improve as a player every year.

With a lot of his peers like Zion Williamson and Ja Morant having trouble, Anthony Edwards looks solely focused on basketball. And a video of him working out recently went viral on social media.

Anthony Edwards averaged 24.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.6 assists per game for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season. And fans are in awe of how it looks like he’s already improving on that form as well. One fan suggested that he is on his way to becoming the face of the league.

What gives fans a lot of confidence is when a player reminds them of past greats. And Edwards is making people think of the GOAT, Michael Jordan, which explains the hype surrounding him.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have built around him and Karl-Anthony Towns, who was picked No. 1 overall five years before Anthony Edwards. But fans think that it’s only a matter of time before Minnesota becomes his team.

Anthony Edwards has the tools to be an all-around NBA superstar. But his prowess at the moment is very much centered around his scoring. And one fan thinks that a scoring title is due first before all the other accolades.

Anthony Edwards Has Claimed He Will Be In The Conversation For Best Player In The NBA

Fans having confidence in a player is one thing. What is needed for true greatness is for the player to have confidence in themselves. And Anthony Edwards has already set a lofty goal for himself next season

“I think I should be in conversations with one of the best players in the NBA. Not now, but after next year I will be. I mean, cuz of the season I’m gonna have.”

The Minnesota Timberwolves have made the playoffs the last two seasons but lost in the first round. If Edwards wants to be recognized as among the greatest, he needs to lead the team to a deep playoff run next season.
