Being in the NBA is one of the highest-paying jobs in the world. Even just being a role player in the league is enough to earn million-dollar contracts from franchises. But does having too much money have a negative impact on the spending habits of players?
Well, we are sure that no one would deny the opportunity to earn millions of dollars a year, but it can indeed make players a bit careless. Recently, it was proved by seeing a piece of news break out about Portland Trail Blazers player Josh Hart.
Like any normal person, Hart is a fan of music and since he owns an iPhone, getting AirPods to listen to music is the most logical answer. But it seems like Hart isn’t careful about losing quite literally dozens of AirPods.
Upon seeing this admission by Hart, NBA fans were simply shocked to see how careless Josh Hart is. As a result, he became an easy target for trolls from fans.
thegunshinestate: “It’s okay, he’s used to losing.”
nofreshking: “At this point just listen to music through the speakers .”
rosvdo_: “Normal wire headphones > air pods.”
nba.in_depth: “I’m taking that info to the grave personally.”
alejandrordona: “I think his next pair needs to come with a tracker app .”
connor_furlotte__: “it’s not that hard to keep track of em bruh.”
clm_3nt: “If he wasn’t rich he would probably lose 0.”
worldof_familyguy: “Can’t he track them with the find my phone app .”
christopherahill: “Mans lost like 5 grand in earbuds wish i could lose that much .”
chandlerjharrington: “This the most extravagant “I’m rich and have AirPods” flex I’ve ever seen .”
mixedmatt: “Now that’s just irresponsible.”
thaiafloyd: “I guess when you got NBA money you can afford to lose and replace them like this .”
No doubt Hart has the money to afford as many pairs of AirPods as he wants. But still being this irresponsible is something we don’t see a lot.
Also, the fact that he shared this image online because he is worried about losing so many pairs of AirPods and will most likely lose more in the future. Well, we are sure he will become an easy target for fans’ trolls if he repeats this behavior.
