Bleacher Report

The Milwaukee Bucks overcame great odds to make the NBA Finals. Even despite all the breaks they got, there were many who had them counted out in the very first round.

And now that they’re down 0-2 to an energetic and hungry Suns squad, folks are once again lamenting the situation in Milwaukee and conjuring up all sorts of noise about what a series loss could mean…

All-time performance from Giannis coupled with an all-time bad performance from Jrue and Khris

Although the game did get close in the second half, the Suns took this one pretty easily, finishing with a final score of 118-108.

Booker and Paul combined for 54 points on the night, while Giannis dropped 42 by himself, with Khris and Jrue accounting for just 28 points.

At this point, there is no doubt that Phoenix has all the momentum heading into Game 3. With a commanding 2-0 lead, they will have the chance to essentially end the Bucks on Sunday.

As for Giannis and company, they haven’t yet come up with a solid answer for the Suns. Not only is their defense falling apart, but Middleton and Holiday haven’t yet stepped up the way they should.

Nonetheless, the series isn’t over. The Suns are in a great position, but it will all depend on Game 3, and how the Bucks will respond to being in an early hole.
