Looking to make amends for last season’s failures, the Los Angeles Clippers came into the 2021 playoffs with a chip on their shoulder and a whole lot to prove.

According to many, they literally tanked the final few games of the regular season to matchup against the Mavericks in the first round — a decision they might be starting to regret.

Shockingly, the Clippers lost Game 2, and now face an 0-2 hole heading to the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the next two matches.

Considering their distant and recent history as a team, we all knew a loss tonight would spark some crazy reactions on Twitter. The fact that the Lakers won their pivotal Game 2 only made things worse for the Clips.

Seriously, things got pretty bad on Twitter.

At this point, you’ve got to feel bad for Kawhi, PG, and the rest of the Clippers team. They’re trying their best to earn respect and cement themselves as legitimate contenders.

Instead, it’s almost like they’re suffering from some kind of curse.

They’re losing, dropping the ball, and just kind of making the franchise look foolish. Honestly, if things keep going like they are, and they get bounced in the first round, we could see some major roster changes this offseason.
