NBA Fans Debate Which Team Would Win In A 3-On-3: Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving vs. Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant

3 Min Read

The NBA offseason might be giving fans some incredible content related to trades and free agent signings. That said, the community certainly is missing the live-action games right now. Given the dearth of basketball games right now, fans have resorted to commentary on social media.

From spicy takes about a certain superstar to what-if scenarios, NBA media is buzzing with discussions right now. Recently, a post on social media has been going viral. With a team of Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, and Stephen Curry facing off against LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Kyrie Irving, the post was a poll on which side would win in a 3-on-3 matchup.

Fans certainly were quick to react to this viral post.

“Team B”

“B”

“Shouldn’t even be a question… A”

“LMAO please. Team B”

“Jordan, lebron and kyrie man that team is unbeatable”

“I’m going bottom. Ky cooking Steph. Bron locking KD. Mike and Kobe gon ball hog.”

“Team A come on now”

“B easily”

“A TEAM!!!!! ….Kobe is Michael 1B….Steph is the best shooter this game has ever seen and KD is the best all round”

“Its B and there’s no debate, you have 2 of the greatest players ever and one of the most skilled players the league has ever seen”

“A. That was easy”

“Damn this is tough!!!!! Just JORDAN and BRON alone is scary but KOBE don’t back down and neither does STEPH….but KYRIE and KD monsters within too! SHEEESHH IMA SIT THIS ONE OUT…. RESPECTFULLY!!”

“Team B With my life on it .”

“Kyrie ain’t on curry’s level and Kobe’s better than mj in terms of 1on1”

“That’s a tough a** decision”

Both the teams are certainly stacked. On one side, there is Durant who is a multi-faceted scorer, Kobe who is a two-way machine, and Stephen Curry who is the best shooter the NBA has ever seen.

On the other team, there are probably two of the best teams the league has ever seen in LeBron James and Michael Jordan. While Bron can be a playmaking scorer, Jordan could lock down any superstar in his prime and could drop 50 points. And then there is Kyrie Irving, who is perhaps one of the most skilled players in the league.

This 3-on-3 battle is basically a coin flip. Given how stacked the teams are and how different of a style both teams might play in, there might not be a definitive answer to this debate. Which team would you pick to win the game?
