NBA Fans Debate Who Would Win A 7-Game Series Between Lakers 75 Teams And Field 75 Team: “It’s Not Even Close”

3 Min Read

The 75th NBA season is making a big impact not only on fans but players. This campaign is very special for those who have made history in the association and the people that supported them throughout all these years.

The list of the top 75 players of all time was really controversial, as many fans were unhappy with the addition and omission of certain players. This kickstarted a lot of debates around the league, as well as hypothetical scenarios for fans.

In recent months, we’ve seen fans creating the best possible team with players on the top 75 list, but also picking the winner of imaginary games. ESPN Instagram page dropped a big question this week, pitting the top 75 Lakers team against the best possible team from the rest of the squads.

The Lakers’ starting 5 featured Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, LeBron Bryant, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and Shaquille O’Neal.

As for their rivals, Stephen Curry, Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant, Hakeem Olajuwon and Bill Russell were selected to try to stop the legendary Purple and Gold team.

Fans had something to say about this, many siding with the Los Angeles Lakers, but others giving the Field Team their flowers, too.

Field!!!!

Lakers, not close

Lakers in 4

Lakers

Lakers

LAKERS!!!

Lakers all the way cmon now

Lakers gonna eat

Take out Bill and add Larry, then they will definitely win

Lakers in 6

the lakers smoking them

Field Too much scoring

Field lmao what

The field 100%

Bottom and it isn’t close

These debates will never have a unanimous answer, and that’s what makes them interesting. The Los Angeles Lakers have had incredible players over the years and it’s hard to find a squad that can put up with the talent of those five. We have five other incredible talents that could give them a run for their money, but we’ll never know how that legendary duel would have ended.

NBA fans enjoy these hypothetical scenarios and with due reason. We would have loved to watch our idols going against each other on the court.
