DeMar DeRozan has made headlines this offseason despite the NBA having ended more than a month ago. With fans starved of basketball, there has been a lot of attention being given to the ProAm leagues being played in various parts of the country, and big-name stars like DeRozan, LeBron James, and Trae Young have all participated.

The Drew League has drawn perhaps the most attention, considering that LeBron James and DeMar DeRozan won only narrowly, and Trae Young and John Collins lost in the game they played. And DeRozan seems to have enjoyed the experience so much that he returned for another game, this time alongside Bulls teammate Patrick Williams.

DeRozan scored 36 points to lead his team to a win, with many NBA fans reacting to highlights of his performance on social media.

“Midrange is locked in.”

“MVP season coming up.”

“Between him and KD for best midrange know game rn.”

“My guy really showed up to Saturday afternoon pick up and mid range KILLED em all day.”

“Cooking them Baldwin Hills cast members.”

“One of my favourite players of the last decade, he just plays at his own pace.”

“Moving mad freely.”

“King of the middys.”

“As soon as this dude steps inside the 3 point line, he is automatic.”

“DeMar is built different, man.”

“He is sooo good at what he does, man.”

“Bro is gonna make me a Drew League fan in a single summer no cap man.”

“Everyone got worked.”

“DeMar is a true bucket getter. Could definitely see him in the Hall Of Fame.”

DeRozan spoke recently about the struggles of his offseason last year, thanks to free agency. However, he has since clearly found his groove again, and this summer seems to be going a lot better than the last. With Zach LaVine back in Chicago, next season promises to be another opportunity for him to potentially show out in the playoffs.
