There was a time in the NBA when Russell Westbrook was considered one of the best players in the league. Obviously, he gained a lot of respect from the fans as well for his amazing basketball skills.

It’s evident how good Russ was from the fact that he won the 2016-17 NBA regular season Most Valuable Player award as well. Westbrook was a beast during his stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder. But since he departed from OKC, his career has been going downhill.

In the last four seasons, he has been part of four different NBA franchises. Also, with each passing year, Westbrook’s game is only getting worse. In his most recent season with the L.A. Lakers, he averaged less than 20 PPG for the first time since his sophomore season in the NBA.

On top of that, NBA fans truly crowned Brodie with the “Westbrick” nickname. It might seem harsh, but when you see how many shots he has quite literally bricked throughout the season with the Lakers will shock you. After all, he is a professional basketball player and has one of the heftiest contracts in the league as of now.

NBA fans never pass up a chance to take a shot at Russ these days. And upon seeing this compilation of Westbrook’s worst bricked shots in his time with the Lakers, NBA fans couldn’t stop themselves from destroying Russ on Twitter.

During the prime of his career, Westbrook mostly relied on his freaky athletic ability, but with age, he cannot rely on that freakish athleticism anymore.

Moreover, he seems to have declined more than ever in his one season with the Lakers. With rumors of Russ getting traded to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Kyrie Irving, he might finally redeem himself. But it’s obvious that he has had a forgettable season with the Purple and Gold.
