  • 2K Sports released the official NBA 2K24 trailer
  • The game is equipped with the revolutionary ProPLAY technology
  • Fan reactions to the trailer were fairly positive

The NBA 2K24 trailer made quite a splash with fans, and safe to say there were thoroughly impressed.

The trailer was revealed by publisher 2K Sports a few hours ago on the game’s official social media account. The ProPLAY technology has been implemented, making the game more than just a visual spectacle.

Many fans were under the impression that ProPLAY would be a separate game mode. Visual Concept has already introduced something similar to WWE 2K23, but things do look different in NBA 2K24. Moving on to the reactions:

One fan couldn’t wait to get his hands on the game.

This was a W for fans.

Waiting was going to be tough.

The accolades continue to trickle in.

Kobe Bryant fans were happy.

Some hoped the haters would simmer down.

One fan had a doubt.

For those unaware, IGN explains what ProPLAY technology is:

“The new ProPlay feature brings real live NBA game film and translates it to authentic movement within NBA 2K24. It marks a new step towards realism to the game allowing for the game you watch on the screen to be brought straight to the game you play.”

These features and the state-of-the-art graphics surely make NBA 2K24 look like one stellar game. Now only time will tell if it can live up to the hype when it hits the market.

All You Need To Know About NBA 2K24

With the trailer launch, the wait only gets harder for those who have been eager to try their hands at NBA 2K24. The game, with decorated Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant on the cover, promises a ton of fun.

NBA 2K24 will be released on September 8 on PS5, Xbox X|S, PS4, Xbox One, NSW, and PC. There will be multiple editions as well. The game comes with a Kobe Bryant Edition, a Black Mamba Edition, and a 25th Anniversary Edition, which will celebrate the illustrious history of the video game franchise.

Like last year, when the 2K23 game had a special Michael Jordan edition with enough challenges from the Chicago Bulls legend’s career, the NBA 2K24 will have a similar concept in the Bryant version as well.

Players using PS5 and Xbox X|S will be able to gain full access to the revolutionary ProPLAY technology. Also joining Bryant on the cover is New York Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu, who will be the face of the NBA 2K24 WNBA Edition.

Now, it’s just a wait-and-watch to see reviews from gamers when they try their hand at NBA 2K24.
