The people in charge of the game have tried to put together a good product despite all the issues they had with the NBA suspension and the limited time to work on the video game the past couple of months. Well, they put out a video showing the next-gen gameplay on Playstation 5, featuring a game between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Golden State Warriors.

As expected, the gameplay received mixed reviews by fans, with some talking about the new sideline reporter, others talking about the infamous sweat effect while others wanted to discuss other modes of the game.
i like that the aggressive still in the game
take out shot aiming, people are ruining the game w/ mods
alley oops are the most op they’ve ever been an it’s very unstoppable and unfair. they need a nerf. now yall adding contact oops which could make those even more op so monitor

Didn’t see any new animation from this clip aside from the contact alleyoop. Dribbling is 100% similar to current gen with probably a little more features doing basic size ups. Shot aiming didn’t look awkward this time around so might be worth trying with the new badge.

This game will always be subjected to scrutiny. Recently, we saw the most disrespectful ratings in the new installment, and that doesn’t seem to be the end of it. Josh Hart reacted to Jrue Holiday’s 83 OVR rating, going off on the people in charge of the game.

Well, these things will always be controversial and not every fan will be happy after seeing this. Yet, others seem to be very high on this game and will probably purchase it when it arrives next month. This is a personal choice more than ever and we only have to wait and see how things will work for the 2K company and their new product.
