Ben Simmons’ career in the NBA has been going downward ever since he made up his mind to leave the Philadelphia 76ers.

Right now, Simmons’ value in the market is at an all-time low, and even his current team, the Brooklyn Nets, isn’t content with his performances. With that being said, Simmons has seemingly become a laughingstock for the entire NBA community.

NBA fans on Twitter were urged to share their thoughts on Ben Simmons by using three words or less. It resulted in some really amazing responses. Here are some of the best.

Comments have been edited for clarification:

“Learn Chinese, buddy,” a fan tweeted.

“Charmin Ultra Soft,” another fan tweeted.

“My favorite player,” a fan wrote a rare praise for Simmons.

“Mid mid mid,” one fan tweeted.

“Who is that?” a fan joked.

Most fans used this opportunity to troll Simmons in various ways. But there were some who still showed trust in him and believe he can make a comeback in his career with the right coaches.

What’s Next For Ben Simmons?

With the Brooklyn Nets trading Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving earlier this season, it has become blatantly obvious that the team is heading toward an eventual rebuild. In order to succeed in that process, they need to move Ben Simmons as well; after all, he is taking a hefty amount of salary.

Well, as per recent reports, the Nets have decided to shut down Simmons for the rest of the 2022-23 NBA season and plan to move him elsewhere this summer.

But the bigger question is whether any team in the league wants Simmons or not. After all, he is no longer the player that he once was. So much so that former NBA player Chandler Parsons believes Simmons will most likely remain a minimum player for the rest of his career.

Will that be true? Or will Simmons somehow find a way to make a comeback in the NBA? Only time will tell.
