NBA GM Says There Is No Trade Market For Kevin Love

32-year-old Kevin Love is a 5x All-Star, 2x All-NBA player, and former NBA Champion.

There was a point in his career where some called him the best power forward in the game — and then father time came knocking.

Over the years, Love has transformed from a rebounding and scoring star to a glorified stretch big man. With all remnants of their Championship team gone, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been looking to move on from KLove for a while now, and it makes sense given the amount of young talent they’re trying to develop.

The thing is, nobody is really interested in Love and his $90+ million contract. At least, according to Sam Amico of Hoops Wire:

While teams such as the Warriors, Pelicans and others expressed minimal interest after the season, an opposing general manager recently told Hoops Wire that there is currently “no market” for Love.

So, at least for now, Kevin Love is stuck in Cleveland, where his minutes will likely be taken by young and rising NBA ballers.

Eventually, though, a buyout could happen and Love could become a free agent for the first time in years. In that case, there are rumblings he could end up with the Lakers.

Until then, his NBA future remains a mystery and who knows how much we’ll see of him on this Cavs team next season.
