There is no doubt that Victor Wembanyama is one of the most hyped prospects in recent memory, and for good reason. The French big man’s combination of size, length, and skill is absolutely tantalizing, and it is easy to see why many believe he could be a franchise-changing player.

As of right now, Victor Wembanyama is 7’2, and he’d be one of the tallest players in the NBA if he was drafted today. It seems as though the big man has always towered above the opposition. A recent viral photo showed Wembanyama towering over every other player when he was only 11 years old, and a lot of fans had something to say about the image.

He’s been like a man among boys. It won’t be the same when he’s drafted

Wow he is Tall.

Them kids had no chance

This is ridiculous

Reminds me of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who was as tall as his teacher in elementary too.

Number 12 in the back I feel your pain! You were the tall kid lol not anymore!

Giannis had a late growth support. Vic was always tall

I mean he’s only several feet taller than the others nothing major.

That would be what Giannis looked like as a 11 year old.

This kid makes the other kids look like 5 year olds

Victor Wembanyama looks giant in comparison with the other players in this photo, and it is insane to simply see the height difference. It is clear that height is not the only reason that Victor Wembanyama manages to dominate though, as he is an extremely talented player.

Some People Believe Victor Wembanyama Could Become The GOAT

A number of knowledgeable people are extremely high on Victor Wembanyama, due to him potentially being a cheat code in the NBA. In fact, an NBA agent previously suggested that Victor Wembanyama could end up being the GOAT if he stays healthy.

“If he’s not hurt, he’ll be the greatest player ever,” said the agent, who has multiple clients playing overseas and in the NBA.

“He’s the best player in the league and the level of players he’s playing against are the best players in the Pac-12, the best college players, borderline NBA guys — and he’s dominating,” the agent added. “Dominating.

“Wembanyama’s physicality, I think people underestimate because he’s so thin. He’s a physically strong dude. When everything opens in the NBA, he’s going to be unstoppable, totally unstoppable. He’ll be the best rim protector in the NBA from day one. And then offensively he’ll be an efficient, unstoppable force from day one.”

It remains to be seen how good Victor Wembanyama will be in the league. It is true that there are always better players coming down the line, and he is the sort of player that we have never seen before.

Hopefully, we see Victor Wembanyama continue to stay healthy. It will be exciting to see the young big man show his talent in the NBA, and we’ll see where he ends up after the 2024 NBA Draft.
