Andre Drummond was a midseason acquisition this season for the Los Angeles Lakers. While the Los Angeles Lakers didn’t do well in the playoffs, the team had a lot of talent on the roster, and they would immediately be solid contenders if everyone on the team were to return in free agency.

It seems as though Andre Drummond is open to the possibility of running it back with the Los Angeles Lakers. In a recent Q and A done by Instagram page lakersalldayeveryday, Andre Drummond praised LeBron James, while also stating his desire to return. Drummond is a two-time All-Star and one of the best rebounders in the league, so his return would certainly boost their frontcourt. (4:40)

Playing alongside LeBron James is a different ball game. It’s every kid’s dream to play with the best player in the world. … This is an incredible time in my career to play with LeBron James instead of against him. Hopefully, things go the right way, and we’ll try to run it back again.

There is no doubt that Andre Drummond would be a solid interior presence for the Lakers. While Drummond’s minutes were lowered in the playoffs, he still managed to put up 9.0 PPG and 11.0 RPG in 21 MPG, just shy of a double-double. While obviously both Drummond and the Lakers would have to consider the financial aspects of a deal, it seems as though Drummond is willing to run it back and play with LeBron James.
