Chris Paul Ironically Replies To Rachel Nichols Asking ‘What Does It Feel Like’: “Feels Like We Just Lost.”

Chris Paul starred in an awkward moment with ESPN reporter Rachel Nichols on Tuesday night. The Phoenix Suns superstar lost the NBA Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks in six games, missing the biggest chance he’s had to win an NBA championship.

Nobody wants to talk after losing the Finals, but that’s part of the job, too, and CP3 is well aware of that. However, one expects people to ask the ‘right’ questions after losing an important matchup like this, which didn’t happen with Nichols.

The controversial reporter asked a vague question to the player, who had a vague response, too, showing that he wasn’t there to entertain those meaningless inquires.

Nichols: What does it feel like?

Paul: Feels like we just lost. You know what I mean, so… Yeah.

This is not what you want to hear after losing the NBA Finals. Paul reached this stage for the first time in his career after 16 years in the league. Just when everybody thought he would make it, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks told otherwise.

It’s unclear if they’ll have another chance at the NBA title, but this was a heck of a run for the Suns. CP3 is ready to start a new season, but it remains to be seen if he will stay in Phoenix. The only certainty now is that he’s not retiring.

The offseason will present a lot of questions to CP3; questions that will take time to answer for him and the Suns.
