Damian Lillard was very active on the Portland Trail Blazers’ official social media on Monday, answering any question fans might have about him, the current and past NBA or the team in general. Dame revealed the two toughest players he had to face in his career, selecting Kobe and LeBron James.

Moreover, when he was asked who is his favorite player of all time, his response was short and clear. He went with none other than the GOAT, Michael Jordan, widely regarded as the best to ever do it.

Just like Lillard, a lot of people grew up idolizing Jordan for the things he did with the Chicago Bulls during the 90s. The connection there could have been bigger since Jordan could go to the Blazers instead of the Bulls, but we all know how that story developed.

This season Lillard and his Trail Blazers were struggling to find a good pace, ranking 9th in the West before the league suspended the 2019/20 season after Utah Jazz’s big man Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.

In 58 games played, Dame was averaging 28.9 points, 7.8 assists, and 4.3 rebounds. He’s hopeful to see the league resume action at some point this year to try to take Portland to the playoffs alongside CJ McCollum and Carmelo Anthony.
