Dennis Rodman Trolls Kanye West Years After Destroying Yeezy Shoebox: "Did I Say, 'Oh You Mean Cayenne West?' That’s What I Call Him, 'Cayenne.'"

Dennis Rodman has always been an outspoken person. Ever since he changed his personality, the Worm hasn't mince words to talk about those close to him and those who aren't on the best terms with the 5x NBA champion.

Rodman recently went sneaker shopping with Complex, talking about a variety of topics. He even revealed that has never bought a pair of Jordan in his life despite having played alongside Michael Jordan and being one of his best friends off the court.

MJ wasn't the only one taking shots from Dennis. Another sneaker giant and world-famous rapper, Kanye West, was also under fire when Rodman discussed his relationship with him. However, he wasn't as kind with West as he was with MJ, calling him out for something that happened years ago.

At the time, Kanye had sent Dennis a pair of Yeezys, but the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls legend wasn't careful during the unboxing, ripping the shoebox and making a big mess (6:52).

“I was like naive. I think it should be about three or four boxes and the first one I really opened it, then the second one, I was like, 'how do you open this damn box?' So I thought I ripped it over and she said, 'do you know what you just did?' I said no. I thought it was just a pair of tennis shoes. She said, 'no these are Yeezy.' I said, 'oh you mean Cayenne West? That’s what I call him, 'Cayenne.'"

“I can’t say his damn name right, Cayenne Pepper, whatever his name is.”

In the end, Dennis was very appreciative of the gesture Kanye had with him, thanked him for the shoes, and continued shopping. It seems like Kanye has issues connecting with NBA players. He once dissed Michael Jordan's brand, last year took some shots at LeBron James and Dennis Rodman can't even say his name properly.

Ye is a controversial figure and no matter if it is with a fellow rapper, another singer, or somebody from a different ambit, he'll be involved in some sort of controversy. Rodman isn't one to be silent about anything, and even though he thanked West for the Yeezy 700, he opened the box the best way he could think of and that was it.
