Ja Morant is having a terrific 2021/22 NBA season, trying to lead his Memphis Grizzlies to the playoffs for the second consecutive season. The point guard is making a statement this season, averaging 26.2 points per game, ranking 5th in that department.
Morant is trying to prove that he’s one of the best point guards in the league, having incredible games in the first three weeks of competition. Although the Grizzlies aren’t having the best time right now, he remains one of the best players in the association this campaign.
This is just his third season in the league, but Morant is already doing things that place him among the elite of the game. For instance, teammate Dillon Brooks believes he’s one of the best PGs in the league, comparing him to none other than Stephen Curry, widely considered the best point guard in the association.
“He’s up there with Stephen Curry,” Brooks said earlier this week. “He’s playing out of his mind.”
Dillon Brooks said that @JaMorant has been playing “Amazing.”
He said he’s a top guard in the league.
“He’s up there with Steph Curry.”

This is a big compliment for the 2019 No. 2 overall pick. Stephen Curry is on a tear right now, demolishing rivals every night, recording two games with nine 3s made, something that only he has done so far.
Ja is trying to become a superstar on his own, fighting hard to get more wins for the Grizzlies. Unfortunately, they suffered a major setback on Saturday when the struggling New Orleans Pelicans beat them 112-101.
He knows it won’t be easy to achieve his goals, especially in a tough conference like the West. Still, Ja keeps trying. He wants to win in Memphis and the team has his back. With a compliment like Brooks told, you know this squad is high on Morant.
