Kevin Durant May Have Infected Drake With Coronavirus

2 Min Read

Perhaps the scariest thing about Coronavirus is just how easy it is to spread around. An infected person could be contagious for two weeks without showing any symptoms and the simple act of sharing a room with an individual could put them at risk.

After finding out one of their players, Rudy Gobert, tested positive with the virus, the NBA began testing other teams around the league who may have been exposed.

Unfortunately, it led to confirmed Coronavirus diagnoses for four Nets players, including superstar forward Kevin Durant.

And now, there are fears Durant may have infected hip-hop and culture icon, Drake.

The Nets were in town to play the Lakers last Tuesday. Of course, Kevin didn’t play, but he was at the game, and afterward he kicked it with Drake at Nice Guy in West Hollywood.

It could just be coincidence, but Drake posted video from the basketball court in his Toronto mansion. He said, “My life for the next however long.” Makes it sound like he’s self-quarantining … perhaps out of an abundance of safety?

Apparently, the two were seen in town together last week, and have been for a while.

If Drake has Coronavirus, it again begs the question: who could he have spread it to?

It’ll be interesting to see how the NBA, and the world, continue to respond in the wake of this worldwide pandemic. If we’ve learned anything so far, it’s that nobody is safe.
