Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Game-Saving Block May Be One Of The Greatest Plays In Finals History: “Up There With LeBron’s Chase-Down.”

2 Min Read

Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn’t have a flawless game. His struggles with shooting the basketball have led to some troubling issues with the team offense as a whole.

From being called “Robin” to a “highly overrated” player, Giannis has heard it all throughout his relatively short NBA career.

But his play on Wednesday put the whole world on notice, and his final, game-saving block is now being recognized as one of the All-Time greatest plays.

Fans, players, and media members couldn’t help but be impressed at the amazing performance by Giannis:

Not only was that block an amazing play on its own (with a degree of difficulty that’s hard to even imagine), it might have saved Milwaukee’s season.

Going down 1-3 in a Finals series is a pretty tough situation to bounce back from, and doing it against this Suns team seems pretty close to impossible.

But the Bucks avoided that hole by coming out with a win tonight (109-103) and tying up the series 2-2.

In what has been a weird, wacky, and wild exciting FInals so far, the intensity should only increase over the next three games, as both teams lock in on the ultimate prize.

Game 5 will be on Saturday, July 17th, at 9 pm Eastern.
