Jalen Rose Shares His Honest Views On What Will Happen If Kevin Durant And Jimmy Butler Join Forces: "The League Is In Trouble Because The Greatness Of KD Now Gets Elevated With The Best Coach In The NBA."

The future of Kevin Durant has been the burning topic in the NBA over the last few weeks. He shocked the world after requesting a trade a couple of weeks ago. After all, it's not common to see a player of KD's caliber request a trade after signing a new contract with a franchise.

Regardless of his time with the Brooklyn Nets, the fact remains that he is ready to move on in his career. There are a plethora of reasons behind his decision, but you can't blame Durant for trying to do what's best for him.

As for his potential trade destinations, the Miami Heat are emerging as the favorites to land the 2x NBA champion. It was recently reported that the Heat are now apparently ready to include Bam Adebayo in a potential trade package for KD.

If the Heat can add a couple of role players and a bunch of first-round picks to that package, it might very well result in them acquiring Kevin Durant.

Talking about a potential partnership between Durant and Jimmy Butler, NBA analyst Jalen Rose simply said that the league would be in a lot of trouble.

The league is in trouble because the greatness of KD now gets elevated with the best coach in the NBA. … So to put KD with that group of leadership and now all of a sudden, the hunger that he has for a franchise that has won championship before he got there in the Miami Heat, I think it’s going to be a great opportunity for him to further his career."

If KD is traded to the Heat, he will not only get a superstar player in Jimmy Butler but also get to witness the amazing culture that the Heat have nurtured over the years.

A baller like Durant will certainly get a lot of benefit from the culture of the Miami Heat. Additionally, he could finally win an NBA Championship without the Golden State Warriors and give an epic reply to his doubters.
