The Miami Heat have become the first team this season to reach the Conference Finals. The number one seeded team has lived up to the expectations that they created in the regular season.

In fact, they have become even better in the playoffs. After stomping through the Atlanta Hawks, the Heat faced James Harden and Joel Embiid’s duo. Unfortunately, the duo didn’t prove to be of much trouble for Jimmy Butler and co.

Speaking of Butler, since arriving at the Heat, he has completely changed the aura around the franchise. After the Big 3 of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh broke up, many believed that the Heat would be down badly for many years to come.

But the franchise bounced back after adding Butler to the roster and mentoring many young players to create an amazing team. The Heat is equally as important in Butler’s life as he recently talked about being where he belongs. He said:

“Now I’m where I belong. I guess where I should’ve been a long time ago. A place where, like I’m welcomed, I’m so grateful that coach Pat believed in me, coach Spo. And then they decided to just go and figure out a way to get us to where we wanna go and I’m on my way to doing it. And I’m trying to tell you that I cannot do that without these guys on this roster.”

Butler’s emotional interview touched the hearts of many fans. He looks very happy as of now with the team and will be working hard to help the Heat possibly win the 2022 NBA Championship.

Additionally, this interview should put the rumors about Butler leaving the Heat to rest, which rose after the heated altercation between Butler and Coach Spo. It is clearer than ever that it was just the heat of the moment and everything’s fine.
