The Philadelphia 76ers are playing great basketball right now. Even though they couldn’t get Ben Simmons back on the court this season, Doc Rivers’ team managed to show a consistent level and remain a top 4 team in the Eastern Conference.

With the addition of James Harden, this team looks more dangerous than before. The first three games of their newly-formed Big 3 are the biggest proof that this team has everything to win the 2022 NBA championship in the next couple of months. After unlocking a complex game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night, the Sixers unleashed all their power against the New Yorkers, winning the game 123-108.

Embiid, Harden and Maxey went off, confirming that they are the star trio of Philadelphia. After the game was over, NBC Sports Philadelphia showed how dominant these guys have been in their first three games together.

Embiid leads the trio in points per game with 32.7; Harden is second with 27.4 and Maxey is third with 24.7. The young guard leads both FG% and 3PT% with 64.3%, while Joel leads the rebounds (10.3) and Harden the assists (12.3).

When the fans thought they would get a star duo, they got a Big 3. Maxey is still developing and could be even better in the future, but he’s learning a lot from two talented players like Embiid and Harden.

Ben Simmons is gone, they got a big player in return and their stars keep getting better. The situation looks incredibly favorable for the Sixers. Now we have to wait and see if they can live up to the expectations or if this season will be another failure for them. Philly will face the Cleveland Cavaliers tomorrow, with their Big 3 hoping to show all their talent again.
